We are the historical society and the historic preservation organization in Metamora, Indiana's Canal Town.  Started as the Shopkeepers Association we have grown and developed over the years. Incorporated as an Indiana non profit in 1999, we received federal designation as a 501(c)3 non profit in 2000.

 

We are a membership organization, open to anyone interested in the village, its history and preservation of its unique nineteenth century appearance. Membership is $10 per person and is good for one calendar year. You can use Paypal to buy a membership below.
